Apple Increases 2011 Shipment Of iPhones – Includes Verizon iPhone

Reports are coming in that Apple has increased its shipment for the 1st Quarter of 2011 iPhones from 19 million to 20-21 million units. And apparently, approximately 5-6 million of these include the alleged CDMA Verizon iPhone.

The first-quarter shipment goal for WCDMA iPhones has been adjusted from 13 million units to 14-15 million units, the sources said. The shipment goal for CDMA iPhones, which will be launched in North America and Asia Pacific in the first quarter, is set at 5-6 million units, the sources added.

How reliable this source is remains to be seen, but it would certainly tie in with all the other rumors pointing to a Verizon iPhone due to be released in the first quarter of 2011.
