iPhone 5 Cases Show Almost Identical Design To iPhone 4

As usual, pending the next generation iPhone release date, manufacturers will begin to draw up designs for new cases for the new iPhone. The iPhone 5 is no exception and these case renderings obtained by HardMac are the first ones to appear for the iPhone 5.
The information has not been confirmed, but they do say that there source is reliable. The cases (below) show identical button placement and a SIM card slot. It also has the same space on the back for the camera and flash.

If these cases are for real, then it would appear that Apple is not going with a new aluminium back as previously rumored, or abandoning the metal frame.
It’s hard to tell from the pictures if the screen is any bigger than the current iPhone, as that is one of the changes Apple are expected to make.
Many accurate rumors have come in the past from cell phone accessories and cases that have been developed for next generation Apple devices. In particular the recent iPad 2 cases were spot on to the final design. However these cases for the iPhone 5  show no difference to the current iPhone 4′s that we can see, so maybe Apple are just planning on bumping up specs?
