Next Gen iPhone Has A 5 Megapixel Camera

It’s pretty much a given that Apple will put a better camera in the next gen iPhone, the pictures we’ve already seen show us that there’s built in flash and a larger lens for starters at least.

According to a report from Chosun, the next gen iPhone will boast a 5 Megapixel camera which is being manufactured by LG Innotek. They say the electronics component maker began producing the sophisticated cameras at its plant in Gumi this month and will mass produce them starting in the second half of this year.
Apple really do need to upgrade their camera to bring them up to par with the rest of the smartphones out there which all boast at least 5 Megapixels.
We already received reports that Apple were putting 5 Megapixel cameras into the iPhone 4G, but it was from a different supplier, so we can’t be certain who is supplying the cameras. But one thing’s for sure and that’s that there will be a camera upgrade.
