iOS 4.2 Now Out – What’s New?

As I’m sure most of you know by now, iOS 4.2 is out now and available to download for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. iOS 4.2 is said to speed up the iPhone 3G as well,
All you have to do is plug your device into iTunes and hit update and you should be all set to go. While Apple are calling this iOS 4.2, your device will actually read iOS 4.2.1 for some unknown reason.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new in it:
Airplay
If you’ve got all your devices and new Apple TV running iOS 4.2 you can now take advantage of the new feature to stream audio and video content to your Apple TV
Find My iPhone
Before Apple charged you for the Find My iPhone service, but now it looks like it will be free to all users with iPhone’s, iPod Touch’s or iPads.
AirPrint
While this is fairly limited at the moment, it does work with HP printers, but at the moment you’re really just limited to them.
Safari “Find in Page”
You can now search for words and content within the safari browser
Multitasking For iPad
And this is the big one for most users, it finally brings multitasking to the iPad like on the other iOS devices
