Verizon iPhone Coming As Early As November

There is no doubt that the demand for a Verizon iPhone is there, even a recent survey of Verizon customers shows that 17% of them are waiting for the iPhone to come to their network. The only problem is, we’ve had so many rumors confirming the Verizon iPhone, and others quashing any hopes for it.
So just to add yet another rumor to the mix, TheStreet is reporting that Rodman Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar has said that Apple has told its manufacturing partner Asustek to plan on starting full-scale production of a CDMA version of the iPhone to be available at Verizon as early as November.
We have had reports before which pointed to Pegatron as the manufacturer for the Verizon iPhone, an operating division of Asustek. If these reports turn out to be true, then that means Apple could be producing more than 40 million iPhones for the year.
They also reckon that the ramp up in production could also be to do with the fact that Apple is planning on making it’s devices available on more than just one carrier in countries. Unlike it’s exclusivity plans, at launch, this would make it available to more people, and hopefully spark off carrier price wars.
It’s a tough one to call, but do you think there will be a Verizon iPhone announced at WWDC?
