iOS 4.2 To Speed Up iPhone 3G Again?

The first iOS update to the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 were welcomed by all thanks to the new features. But the same couldn’t be said about iPhone 3G and iPod Touch users. Updating to iOS 4 had the opposite affect an update normally has. Instead of speeding up the devices, it slowed them down no end and the complaints came rolling in.
Thankfully Apple got to work and with iOS 4.1 they managed to speed things up again, but it’s still a little slow for comfort. However it’s looking like iOS 4.2 will be the iOS version that get’s your device back up to speed. According to TiPb who’ve tested the iOS 4.2 gold master on an iPhone 3G and they felt it was definitely quicker.
