iOS 4.1 Jailbroken Already

Yesterday we were warned by the dev team not to update to iOS 4.1 as it prevents users from jailbreaking their devices. But alas, we don’t have to worry about that minor inconvenience any more.
iPhone hacker pod2g of Chronic Dev Team has found yet another exploit in the iPhones boot rom which allows you to jailbreak your device yet again. And since it’s in the bootrom, it also means that Apple wont be able to patch it with a simple firmware update, this one will require a hardware update to patch it up.
Now there’s no software option or method for us everyday users to jailbreak iOS 4.1 just yet, but they’re working on it as we speak and at least we know it’s possible

So if you updated in error, don’t worry, you will be able to jailbreak again soon enough. This also means that an unlock is also more than likely going to find it’s way out as well.
That didn’t take too long anyway!
