Next Gen iPhone Delayed Before It’s Even Announced

Ok, well it hasn’t even been given a release date, we don’t even know if it will actually ever exist ( though we are pretty certain it will ) but there are reports out now throwing about the idea that the next gen iPhone from Apple ( dubbed the iPhone 4G ) will be delayed before it’s even got out of the gate.
And where did we come up with such a preposterous notion? Well basically we’re being told that Apple are getting a little bit nervous with all the recent developments in the world of smartphones. The onslaught of new superphones being released by the likes of Google, HTC, and Sony Ericsson are all getting on Steve Job’s nerves. So as a result, Apple are scrapping their current plan and heading back to the drawing board to redesign the hardware and software from scratch.
Google Android handsets are the main cause of poor Steve’s discomfort, the likes of the HTC EVO 4G probably hasn’t done them any favours. While there has been speculation that the iPhone 4G will actually support 4G speeds, the only problem is, AT&T, the main carrier of the iPhone is nowhere near ready to offer these speeds to the US and the rest of the world is even further behind ( with some exceptions )
There is also worries that the next gen iPhone will not be able to have a HD display since Apple won’t be using Samsung as their screen supplier since they’ve extended their contract with LG. Word on the street,( or the web ) is that LG screens just aren’t up to the task that Samsungs AMOLED screens are capable of.
It also makes me wonder what the next gen iPhone will actually be called? Will it be the iPhone 4G or the iPhone HD?
