The iOS 4.1 Beta 3 came out just a couple of days ago, and now we’ve had a chance to find out what’s new in it. In this latest edition of the iPhone firmware, Apple have added a new option in in “Contacts” which allows users to make FaceTime calls using a phone number or email address.
So this got us thinking, why would you need to ring an email address…..hmm maybe cause it was a device with a front facing camera which supported FaceTime, but it wasn’t a mobile. Why it must be the next gen iPod Touch! Or it could even be a future iPad!
So it looks like iOS 4.1 is getting ready to support a new iPod model with a front facing camera, we’re expecting to see a new iPod Touch introduced next month so this would be in line with the update
