However, recent dig-ups have revealed the iOS 5′s SKD suggests that iPhone 5 might integrate the same 5MP camera used in the manufacturing of the iPhone 4.
Apple could embed a better flash unit in its iPhone 5 although recent rumors seem to suggest otherwise. Apparently, the company is planning to separate the flash sensor from the image sensor so as to reduce the red-eye effect and enhance image quality.
No information is currently available about the supplier of the flash units, but this should not be surprising since Apple is known to be a secretive company. Actually, Apple’s high-rank executives and some developers may even be walking around with the enhanced iPhone 5 model in their pockets and we may not even know it.
New, improved flash units would be a good choice, but Apple could do even better and integrate LED instead of flash units. In this manner, iPhones could take clearer photos and users could finally get rid of the annoying dull images the iPhone 4 currently offers.
We reported about this just 5 days ago and it seems that the tech world has managed to bring more evidence of improved flash units. For the non-tech persons out there, an improved flash camera could signify an improved photo quality. Apple is expected to roll out the iPhone 5 sometime in this fall.
