No one minds rumors, but the ones regarding the new iPhone have gotten to a point where, if you analyze all of them, you get the impression that anything is possible. No official announcement from Apple meant that everyone with the slightest knowledge on the subject could start any rumor and feed the fire that’s been raging for some time now. Some sources seem more believable that others, such as analysts for different tech publications, while others just come up as anonymous.
The biggest problem with this whole carousel of rumors is that many of them are conflicting. There isn’t a even a consensus regarding the name of the new product, whether it be an iPhone 4S or an iPhone 5. Going further into the rumor barrel, we find that the new phone will have edge-to-edge display. Or not.
It will have 4G LTE capabilities. Or not. It will come equipped with a 3D photo camera. Or not. Wireless charging. Or not. For each rumor that pops up, there are a whole bunch of people looking to confirm it, while others are quick to disavow it. Most of them come back with some type of information presented as irrefutable proof, either to confirm or deny any rumor.
What should believe, then? The simplest solution is to not believe any of it and just wait and see.
